Calcium contributes to the normal function of digestive enzymes and to normal energy metabolism.
Inulin is a soluble fiber that comes from chicory. Like other fibers, inulin can regulate digestion and thus help with constipation and digestive problems. It also serves the intestinal bacteria, z.B. the bifidobacteria, as food.
Artichoke is used in natural medicine for a variety of digestive problems. It is also rich in fiber and therefore provides a food source for intestinal bacteria.
The fibers of Acacia seyal contain soluble fiber. They serve as food for the bifiobacteria and lactobacteria in the intestine. Our acacia powder comes from organic farming.
The polyphenols contained in green tea, especially epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), have an influence on the healthy intestinal bacteria Bacteroides, Christensenellaceae and Bifidobacterium. Unhealthy intestinal bacteria are inhibited.
Pectin is a soluble fiber that is z.B. found in the peel of apples. Pectin regulates digestion because it binds water in the intestines. For this reason, grated apple with peel is recommended for diarrhea. Pectin also serves as food for the beneficial intestinal bacteria.
Quercetin is a secondary plant substance in the group of phenols. In studies u.a. the antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects and the histamine-inhibiting potential of quercetin are shown. In foods, quercetin is found in large quantities in onions and broccoli as well as in fruits and herbs.
Bifidobacteria belong to the acidification flora. They create an acidic environment in the intestines and thus inhibit the growth of pathogens that are harmful to health. The short-chain fatty acids they form strengthen the intestinal mucosa, counteract inflammation and stimulate both blood circulation and peristalsis. We use 8 different microencapsulated Bifido strains:
Bifidobacterium lactis
Bifidobacterium infantis (reduces abdominal pain and flatulence, especially in irritable bowel syndrome, can produce tryptophan as a precursor for melatonin (sleep hormone) and serotonin (happiness hormone))
Bifidobacterium longum (supports the immune system, relieves allergy symptoms, improves mood in times of stress and tension)
Bifidobacterium breve (protects nerve cells, improves performance)
Bifidobacterium adolescentis (stimulates digestion in cases of constipation, anti-inflammatory)
Bifidobacterium bifidum
Lactobacilli, better known as lactic acid bacteria, are part of the acidifying flora in the intestine. The acidic pH value provides a habitat for other benign bacteria and makes it more difficult for harmful bacteria to multiply. They also produce bacteriocins, substances that inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria. They form short-chain fatty acids, which increase blood circulation and anti-inflammatory lactic acid wirken.Die and stimulate intestinal movement.
We use 6 different lacto strains:
Lactobacillus rhamnosus (mood improvement in times of stress and tension, cortisol lowering)
Lactobacillus helveticus (improves mood in times of stress and tension, lowers cortisol, stimulates immune system)
Lactobacillus paracasei (for sensitive skin)
Lactobacillus plantarum (mood improvement in times of stress and tension, cortisol lowering, weight reduction, skin rejuvenation, acne and neurodermatitis)
Lactobacillus gasseri (reduction of allergy symptoms, weight loss)
Lactobacillus salivarius
Lactococci are among the vitamin-producing bacteria in the intestinal flora. They produce vitamin K2, which is important for calcium metabolism and blood clotting. Lactococci also have a beneficial effect on the immune system and can be anti-inflammatory sein.Interessant they are for people with lactose intolerance as they can partially break down lactose in the intestine.
Streptococcus thermophilus belongs to the lactic acid bacteria and is one of the streptococcal strains that belong to the benign flora. S.thermophilus forms antioxidants and strengthens the immune system. It has been observed that it can increase athletic performance. It also produces lactase for the breakdown of lactose.
Vitamin B2 contributes to maintaining normal mucous membrane function.
